A boudoir photo shoot is an excellent gift for that special someone on valentines day. With February fast approaching. I thought it would be a great idea to talk about some of my favorite wardrobe ideas for a successful boudoir photo shoot. One of the most common questions I get asked during a boudoir consolation is “what do i wear” Because the uniqueness of women is vast. My answer is never the same. Here’s a list of some quick tips to get you started and those creative juices flowing.

Comfortably. It doesn’t matter if you’ve decided to wear an elegant evening gown or prepare to be in your bare minerals. The number 1 rule is your comfort level. Lets be real, you’ve already chosen to do something daring don’t spoil the moment by wearing something that doesn’t fit your personality. It will be easier for you to get comfortable in front of the camera if you make the right wardrobe choices. We’ve all had those uncomfortable outfit days when we are constantly tugging and pulling at what we have on. Thinking.. “Maybe it looked better on the rack”. I always suggest to try each piece on before the shoot. Once your selections are made, Make sure you feel Sexy and Confident at home in the mirror. The butterflies will return in front of the camera. Don’t worry, a good photographer will help bring your sexy back.

Don’t underestimate everyday wear. Think of a over sized off the shoulder sweater or a cute white T. I love the corporate sexy look. Try rocking your favorite blazer with some fantastic heels.

Since this is a gift. Its also important to cater a look especially with your man in mind. For example, if you have a spouse that’s into sports. Think about wearing his favorite team jersey with some cute undies. Consider a theme and have fun with accessories. I’m loving this masquerade mask with black gloves. It ad’s mysteriousness to the feel of the shoot.
