Fall is one of my absolute favorite times of the year to shoot engagement sessions. The colors that nature provides makes for an awesome backdrop. We met with Theresa and Dean at George George Memorial park located in Clinton township. Below is a bit of their love story and some of my fav’s from their engagement session. Theresa and Dean were introduced by family members that worked together. Theresa’s Aunt and Dean’s Grandpa thought the two would be a perfect match for one another. After some time spent as Facebook buddies the couple finally decided to meet. Theresa explained “It was kinda like online dating for a while because all we did was message back and forth. Eventually we met in person and it was a hit ever since! That was 3 years ago 🙂 ”
Dean proposed in January 2013 at the Field Museum located in Chicago. Since the couples birthdays are 2 weeks apart His family took them there for a “birthday celebration”. After Months of planing and going back and forth with the museum Dean finally got them to agree to putting Theresa’s ring in a display case in the Hall of Gems.
“I had no idea it was coming! He also surprised me with my parents coming out to Chicago too and we celebrated with everyone at a nice dinner that evening.”
